THE PROBLEM

Pulsara believes that the way patient-centric healthcare is practiced, is flawed. The focus has always been on the patient and tasks at hand and not on the patient journey and treatment team. They also believe that multiple archaic technologies keep the treatment teams in silos. Also, the use of different technologies and protocols for prehospital, intra facility and inter-facility communication adds to the problem and needs to be standardized. They define communication as a real crisis which has intense atient outcome and economic consequences.

Pulsara is driven by the philosophy that When Time is Tissue, Every Second Matters. Hence, the functionality had to be such that it significantly reduces time taken at every stage of the communication process. They gave us the necessary inputs and we started to work towards creating a solution that not only required solving complex problems, but also lives up to the intent of keeping it simple.

THE CHALLENGE

We were not just working on creating a solution for a specific need of an organization, we were working on creating an enterprise by designing a framework which the organization would use to build upon and grow in the coming years.

The Client showed grave concern initially, since the final product would decide the future of their organization. We accommodated their concerns with utmost sensitivity and delivered them the brainchild that they were hoping for.

THE SOLUTION

We delivered an application that enhances treatment time outcome by improving communication and care coordination through the entire healthcare system. Using this application, users could share information like health data and pictures about patients with other intended healthcare staff, alert other healthcare users about patient arrival, and allow secure video calling.

THE RESULT

The users of Pulsara, have labelled the solution "Integration of two systems- the EMS and the Hospital." Pulsara has received commendable success in the market and has been a recipient of various awards for its innovation and contribution to the EMS.
